12 Days to GO!!

So it seems I have now a final date for leaving to Dubai: 11th May!

After many complications, lost packages, super quick delivery by DHL and Lufthansa flight confirmation, it seems that I can finally start the countdown... 12 days to go.

Decided to post a photo of when I was in Dubai, in the middle of the desert, so that people stop asking me if I will wear a burka while there. I will not have to, but if needed, it won't be my first time! ;)

Collecting memories...

A night that finished at 5.30 am, at a bar in which you feel like you are at home.. singing with strangers, playing with the cat and drinking some tea, just as if you have invited your friends for an evening at your living room is just the perfect memory of Lisbon to take with me... I hope Alfama, Tejo Bar, Mane do Cafe and Serginho are still here when I come back... Some things are just too good to be lost.

Highlights...

The past 2 months highlights...

- Hard time explaining people why I quit my job eventhough I liked it.
- Spending delicious times with my grandparents
- Decided to adventure myself and a friend into the top of a mountain at 7.30 pm, with thick fog, strong wind, snow and with no "snow thingies" for the tyres. And made it to the other side alive! :)
- Attended Easter's Day mass.
- Met a boy who I think is cute (quite hard these days) :)
- Having my LC EB elected
- Finding old friends and reconnecting lives
- Being invited for Claudia's Wedding and feeling shocked! ;)
- Breakfast at Polana's hotel before flying back to Lisbon
- Gained 3 kilos!!
- My little brother got selected for an Erasmus year in Poland!
- Benfica being 6 points ahead from all other teams and not winning the last 2 games :(
- Unexpected talks on the phone with unexpected person
- Picking up Marisa at BES (her place of work) and having perfect evenings of girls chat
- Buying 2 skirts in a row!
- Eating out everynight for the past 1.5 months (almost in a row)

BUT... things turned even better on Wednesday, 13th April when I...

- Received a phonecall from DUBAI, UAE, telling me that I just got selected for the Marketing Position!!! :) :)

Yes, it seems that I will be joining DHL's family soon!!! :) :)

I am SO happy!

Back in the blogosphere...

It seems that I have not been writing on my blog for some days now...

A mix of feelings prevented me to be more regular, but most of all I wasnt feeling confortable about writing anymore.
Well, I had this discussion long time ago too but the thing is that I havent "positioned" my blog inside my life yet, ate least in the right way...
It all started with "random thoughts" which was cool.. especially because I havent promoted this blog to anyone. So basically Digs and Maria were my only readers :)
However lately many portuguese friends "discovered" my site and then the problems started..

As a Gemini girl I have a double, sometimes a triple personality.. (yes, I have been keeping this secret for years;) ) So it was strange to have some people that didnt know I was random reading about my Oreo posts and stuff like that... I felt "strange"..

However, it now seems that everyone already knew I was random... So the blog was not a big surprise for them... (damn! there goes my impersonating skills)

Well, this probably being one of my random posts, it can mean only one thing..

I am back to the blogosphere! :)
