Another day in Hyderabad... Golconda Fort

View of the Fort from the entrance gate
Amazing Design & Architecture!

Legend says that there was only one prisoner  in this jail and did these carvings. An ex-Finance minister who stole millions from the Sultan's tax collection money and spent 12 years behind bars.

View from the "dancing plaza". Apparently the Sultans loved their dancers!

Old Hyderabad view from the top of the Fort
Although Golkonda's Fort sultans dynasty was Muslim, they embraced other religions. This beautiful Hindu temple remains on the top of Fort and one can see dozens of temples and mosques side by side inside the old town walls.
