Writing in Portuguese...
Writing in my mother tongue is something that really gives me a lot of pleasure, since my youngest days...
However, it also brings some inconvenients :):
1. Ludy complaints! :)
2. The following email from my mother. The thing is that once I write in Portuguese, she is able to understand it and analyse intensively the number of "incorrections" I have...
"Anita no fiques zangada mas nao e "tivemos a..." "estivemos a..." ai, ai, ai esse Portugus. No Blog antes de gravares tens de reler para rectificares certas coisitas ... como: se poes aspas no comeco tem de haver aspas nalgum fim , e algumas letritas ficam comidas, mas eh so pq depois em conteudo pode-se considerar ate nalgumas situacoes Portugues bem erudito"
In English: "Dear Ana, please dont get mad at me.. but uiuiui, that Portuguese (ahah, I am so bad at translations). Before you save your blog please re-read it and ensure that you rectify some details.. like: if you put "(quote) in the beginning of a sentence then that meens that there needs to be a "(quote) in the end of the sentence too, also, some letters in your text are not there (they disappear)...
So I guess this means I am back to blogging in English (until my next portuguese posting, I mean) :)
