Mother's Day
Today is Mother's day, which is celebrated normally at every 1st Sunday of May.
Normally I spent an awful time trying to get the right gift for my mother as she normally has a very peculiar taste...
However, this time it seemed easier that usual:
Phonecall on the 29th:
Mum: Ana, do you know what day it is on Sunday?
Me: Don't have a clue.. (just teasing her) :P
Mum: Its Mother's Day and I have just the perfect gift for you to give me! The new Mother's Day special watch from Swatch!!
Me: Really?! Cool (I can't believe she is telling me this just like that.. urgh, I am having this big feeling of not getting her anything... but hey, at least I will not spend hours figuring out what to buy!)
Well, naive me.. went to the shopping mall and bought the cute watch that same day (as it normally runs out quite early)...
Phonecall on the 30th:
Mum: Ana... Just saw the watch on a shop! Afterall, I dont like it! I first saw it on a magazine and now it seems completely different!
Me: ok (dont worry I will just give the other one away.. who cares about money and time lost at the queue??!!!)
Conclusion: My mum just got this really cute Swatch!! :) :) Yes.. I was almost tempted to buy something else, but I am a more mature person now and I believe that people must be responsible for their actions.. If she told me she wanted it.. she now has it!
Well, all this just to say that I love my Mother and that I will miss her terribly !!

Ps- Concerning the gay thing.. well, sometimes I wish, considering the men in this world! eheh :) Btw, isnt "gay" only aplied to men? Hummm... Are you also implying I am a man? Humm.. I guess that means I need to wax quick! eheh :)
