... Arriving

Here I am...

Actually it has now been one week... Funny how time passes so quickly!
What can I say? I am having the best of time!

I had a great welcoming at the airport from AIESEC people and also for Amir, who completely surprised me by arranging me a VIP wellcoming at the airport!! You should have seen my face when I arrived! :)

Next days were even better... I am staying at a nice shared room (although in a crowded apartment), and I get to have a private driver (as I call it, eheh) to get me from my apartment to work and vice-versa! :)
Well, not as perfect as it might seem, but still perfectably ok!

I already met most of the trainees at one of the parties and AIESEC members have been just great and supportive! Couldnt make it without them! Nadine, Deepak, Ailah, Arwa, Basma... Thank you!

Regarding work, my manager seems to be awesome and he has already assigned me a huge bunch of responsabilities that are just what I was looking for, if not even more than I expected! I am definitely enjoying the working environment at DHL and especially in my department. Also, I finally managed to enjoy the yellow and red (although hard at the beginning.. eheh) and now I am a DHL merchandising fanatic! :)

So, it seems I am still in the "euphoria" phase of the integrating into a new culture curve, the one we keep talking about in AIESEC. But the good thing is that I really dont think it is just a phase... but lets see. Until now I really feel as I fit in here.. lets see. :)

Kisses to everyone...
Although I am fine here that doesnt mean I dont miss you.. I do! :)
And just in case you want to send me sms just to say hi I still have my Vodafone here (roaming). You just need to send it to my number, no need to extra digits or something.:)

ps- I will try to post soon with all my first impressions about Dubai... It is definetely an unique city!
