Week Recap
Funny how weeks seem so long these days that I am moving back and fwd to Madrid.
I never have too much time to write these past weeks, so I thought it would be time to do it.
Well. Life in Madrid has been just great.
I am really enjoying the work we are doing in the current project I am assigned to, and I especially like the time I spend at the client. It is amazing how much you can learn/get to know from a company once you work as their consultancy team.
However, I am feeling that is time to move on. This is a small company (around 35 employees) and I feel like I need to go into the "real world"... Let's see what happen next.
Talking about Madrid's social side.. finally I managed to have some time to meet the Spanish MC!It was just great to catch up with Gerardo again and to meet hiw MC team.. They seem very cool! Nuno Cruz was also there. Funny when we start meeting our friends in other cities more easily than in Lisbon, the same almost happen with me meeting Rita Baptista, around 4 weeks ago.
Well, it was really cool to hang out in Madrid. Lovely city.. lovely people. Didnt manage to know yet the Night "Movida".. but I guess next Thursday will be the day :)
So.. as I was saying. Weeks seem longer but time seems to pass so quickly! Strange how it is already February.
Stranger than that is the fact that Gonçalo Pinheiro is leaving for Mozambique... One of my dearest friends and my mentor in AIESEC. I am so glad that he has decided to face this challenge.. but damn, I will miss him. Especially because I feel guilty for not have spending so much time wit him in the past months... It now seems that most of my friends are leaving for Mozambique.. Orlando, my best friend in the world is also there... But I guess this just adds another reason for me to go there and visit! :)
Well.. got to go. Gonçalo's goodbye dinner in a few hours. And I still have to go and ice skate, eat a "chocolate&banana Crepe" at Cup&Cino and then head to "Chinês das Laranjeiras"! Followed by a crazy night at "bairro Alto" (one of the coolest places to hang out at night in Lisbon) and Mauricio puting some music at this cool bar/sico (he will be the invited DJ for the night)...
