Cheers to a New Start!

Life is full of phases.. some finishing, others starting!

My new beginning was blessed with SNOW! :)
I woke up this morning in my Madrid Hotel, opened the window and was amazed by the magnificent view (and the cold too) of white roofs and falling snow flakes!

Humm. Delicious! I just wish I had brought my camera...

Yes. A new beginning! Its shape will be more defined as the week ends, but I am already jubilating!!

I feel "light" :) And I am not even counting with the luck I had this week in Madrid!

Real Madrid was playing against Juventus - what a great game!! (Humm.. Dont u just love it when they play this good football instead of wasting 90mins of their lifes? Ok, maybe I am comparing it too much with Portuguese League... )
Anyway, as a result all hotels in Madrid were full, so I couldnt check in into my "usual" hotel.

So, I had to stay in this coolest 5 star hotel!! Just imagine.. I had a huge "suite", with living room, hydromassage bathtube, shower, huge TV screen, swimming pool,amazing view over the city.. The entire room was almost HALF my house in Portugal! If you want to see it for real just go to MiraSierraSuitesHotel. I had already been to 5 starts hotel before, but compared with this one they will worth 1 star maximum..

However, I got worried. Listening to one of the hotel recepcionist on the phone I heard her talk about 295€+VAT per night (average). So this morning I talked with my company secretary.. It was wonderful to stay there one night, but didnt feel confortable to stay one night more knowing its price, I would rather stay in an hostel or something.. After acting quite surprise with my decision to move it seems that she got "company fare" so it is actually the same price as my "usual hotel", so I will be back tonight! eheh.

I feel like Alice in Wonderland! :)
