A special THANK YOU!

It is about time I start writing about my Mozambique and South Africa (Kruger's Park) adventures..

However, before all that I just want to thank Orlando for everything while I was in Mozambique! Orlando is one of my best friends for long and he is those kind of special people that you just cant help liking!!.. He was part of my LC team as ICX when I was LCP and the coolest thing is that he is dating another special friend of mine, Sonia, who was my OGX back then! :)

After your departure to Mozambique I missed our talks, our dinners and cinemas terribly, but now, after great days spent there I know our friendship is still there... I am not even sure if you will be reading my blog, but after so many thank you sms and emails I thought I should be original! :)

Mozambique....

I am back! After great days in Mozambique...

I wasn't there for long but I had the most wonderful days I could ever ask for! I wanted to write about so many things, about some many new feelings and thoughts but words keep popping in my mind quicker than my typing skills.

However, something that this kid told me after knowing that I came from Portugal keeps resounding in my head. He said "great country" and of course out of my great curiosity I asked why?.
His answer was as breathtaking as Mozambique itself:

"Portugal and Mozambique are the same.. The same country, the same people. Only colours are different".

The strange thing is that the feeling behind it connects to me more than Portugal and Mozambique connections itself. Not that I have been such a nomad or a traveller but it now seems to me that whereever I go, no matter how huge differences I acknowledge, there is some how this sensation of unicity, of something that connects all those different realities, something I may call "deja vu" sensation (in the lack of a better way to express what I feel), not in a sense of me already seeing it in another time life or whatever but in a sense of it being part of something else...

Well, I guess it is hard to define it or put it into words.

Anyway, I will try to put some of my travel adventures (such as my hotel burning down and lions cms away from me) in my next postings.
